Fantasy Football Week 12 Waiver Wire

Waiver Wire Pickups Week 12

Quarterback

It was a tough week for Joe Burrow owners, trust me, I know. Hopefully, the rest of your team is strong and there’s a decent replacement sitting on waivers for you. I’ll go over the best options that are more than likely available.

Jordan Love is owned in about 50 percent of leagues and has the Lions, Chiefs, Bucs, and Giants the next four weeks. It’s a pretty favorable schedule and Love looks to be playing better.

Matthew Stafford has been a bit of a fantasy disappointment, but he’s still got Cooper Kupp, hopefully, and Puka Nacua to throw to. He’s available in about 66 percent of leagues and has the Cardinals’ defense next for a juicy matchup.

If you need to go deep, Gardner Minshew is available in over 90 percent of leagues. He’s got the Buccaneers, Titans, Bengals, Steelers, and Falcons the next five weeks. All of those teams are friendly matchups for opposing fantasy quarterbacks.

Running Back

Zach Charbonnet is the big add this week as Kenneth Walker is injured. Charbonnet now has the opportunity to go along with his talent. He’s available in around 66 percent of leagues and is likely the most popular target on the waiver wire this week. Add him no matter what, you can never have enough running backs.

Keaton Mitchell is still available in around 60 percent of leagues. He played the same amount of snaps as Gus Edwards did this past week. He has home run ability and is an attractive option if you miss out on Charbonnet.

Wide Receivers

Noah Brown is somehow still available in around 50 percent of leagues. He missed this week but put up 24 points in each of the two weeks before that. Brown is a no-brainer add if you’re looking for help at the WR position.

Odell Beckham Jr. is available in around 50 percent of leagues and looks to be back. Also, Mark Andrews’s injury means more targets to go around. Finally, he faces the Chargers’ weak pass defense this coming week.

Demario Douglas is available in around 70 percent of leagues and, reportedly, has DraftDive favorite Bailey Zappe coming in at quarterback. He’s the number-one receiver in New England.

Tight End

Isaiah Likely is available in 99 percent of leagues but will be a popular add this week. Mark Andrews’s misfortune opens up big opportunities for the athletic pass-catching tight end.

Pat Freiermuth is available in around 50 percent of leagues. He’s still getting healthy and the Steelers passing offense isn’t lighting the world on fire. However, if you’re talking about pure talent, there are not a lot of tight ends that have more than Freiermuth.

Defense/Special Teams

Denver is for real and has Cleveland this week. A nice matchup for both defenses, but Denver is more likely to be available.

Pittsburgh is going to be playing Jake Browning this week, it should be a successful matchup for the Steelers.
